The “nesto-5k” contest is organized by nesto (herein also “Contest Organizer or “Organizer”). No purchase necessary.

1. Rules

These rules govern all aspects related to the contest.

2. Prizes to be won

The “nesto-5k” contest gives participants the chance to win $5,000 offered by nesto. The $5,000 will be awarded in cash and paid by bank transfer to the email address indicated when registering for the contest.

3. Contest period

nesto will draw the prize among all customers who entered the contest between October 17 and November 11, 2022. Registration closes on November 11 at 11:59 p.m. The draw will take place on November 16, 2022 at approximately 4 p.m. at the head office of nesto inc. located at 2100 Stanley Street, 1st floor, Montreal, Quebec, H3A 1R6.

4. Eligibility

To be eligible for the contest, the participant must:

Option 1: register for the contest on the website provided for this purpose (https://www.nesto.ca/contest/fall-2022-contest). The contest ends on November 11, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.

 or

Option 2: Send a letter addressed to nesto inc. at 2200 Stanley St 1st floor, Montreal, Quebec H3A 1R6. The letter must be received no later than November 11, 2022.

• Include participants contact details (Last name, first name, telephone number, email address and postal address).
• Write the reason why the participant wants to win the contest.
• Must have reached the age of majority (18 years).
• Must be a resident of Canada.
• Not be an employee, agent, representative or be a person domiciled with an employee, agent or representative performing services for nesto.

5. Awarding of prizes

The draw and awarding of prizes will take place on November 16, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.

The draw will be made by means of an automated system. The chances of winning depend on the number of participants.

• The winner will be notified by email. The winner will have one week to claim the prize.
• The person chosen must respect the rules mentioned above, be reachable by email and/or telephone and accept the prize within a week, otherwise we will start the process of choosing the winner again.
• It is possible that the first and last name of the confirmed winner will be announced on the Contest Organizer’s social networks.

6. How to enter

Option 1: register for the contest on the website provided for this purpose (https://www.nesto.ca/contest/fall-2022-contest ). The contest ends on November 11, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. One entry per participant.

Option 2: Send a letter addressed to nesto-5k contest at 2200 Stanley St 1st floor, Montreal, Quebec H3A 1R6. The letter must be received no later than November 11, 2022 and include:

• The participant’s contact details (Last name, first name, telephone number, email address and postal address).
• The reason why they want to win the contest.

*Any attempt by an entrant to obtain more than the specified number of entries, by using multiple email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other method will result in the cancellation of that entrant’s Entries and that entrant may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion. The use of any automated system (including, but not limited to, entries submitted by means of robots, scripts, macro commands or other automated service) to enter is prohibited and will result in disqualification of the entrant. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a person who submitted an entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. “Authorized account holder” means the person assigned to the email address by the Internet access provider, online service provider or organization responsible for assigning the account for the email address. Potential winners may be required to provide proof that they are the authorized account holder of a given account.

7. Personal Information

The Organizer (nesto) is authorized to collect the personal information provided during the Participation in the Contest. The information available is that which the participant will have entered on the contest page, namely the name, first name, telephone number, email address, province of residence. The Organizer may therefore send emails to participants following the contest. By entering the contest, the participant is providing consent for The Organizer (nesto) to collect the personal information provided in the Contest. By submitting his/her personal information to the contest, The Participant is providing consent for The Organizer (nesto) to contact The Participant by email or by the phone number provided. 

8. Distribution

The prize of $5,000 will be paid to the winner by bank transfer to the email address indicated during registration within 5 days or effective following confirmation of acceptance of the prize by the latter.

9. Exemption

To the extent permitted by law, each entrant releases the Sponsor, any corporation, trust or other legal entity controlled by or related to the Sponsor, its advertising and promotional agencies, employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability for any damages or claims that the entrant may incur as a result of participating or attempting to participate in the Contest, or accepting and using the prize or any property acquired with the prize. 

10. Cancellation or changes to the contest

The Contest Organizer reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to modify or cancel the Contest in whole or in part.

A dispute regarding the organization or conduct of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for resolution. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping to reach a settlement.
