Sales Manager

nesto is looking for a sales manager to join its growing team of mortgage brokers. 

nesto mortgage brokers are the final and most important touchpoint with potential nesto borrowers. These advisors hold a critical part in the customer journey as they are the final interaction before a borrower commits to a mortgage product. Over an extended phone call, the advisor must effectively understand a borrower’s true needs and clearly articulate nesto’s value for each unique situation. 

As we rapidly scale the size of the mortgage broker team many times over we are looking for a seasoned sales leader to set individual and team objectives, implement best sales practices, coach individuals on world-class sales habits and hold the team accountable for reaching nesto’s growth objectives. In this challenging role, you will be a critical element in bringing nesto’s unrivalled value to ever more Canadians.

What will some of your responsibilities be?

  • Coaching, mentoring and management of a growing team of mortgage brokers of various levels of experience.
  • Structuring the team’s daily, weekly and monthly agenda to build a high performing sales team.
  • Defining group and individual targets, incentive structure, and holding the team accountable.
  • Recruiting and onboarding ever growing cohorts of brokers.
  • Designing the layout and flows of our sales-facing CRM software.
  • Partnering with senior leadership, operations and tech stakeholders to build smooth processes and seamless handovers.
  • Being a key part of an outstanding user experience that surprises and delights every nesto borrower

What’s nesto looking for in a Sales Manager?

  • Accomplished in both individual and leadership of inside sales with 4+ years experience.
  • Proven track record of people management and sales coaching.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and bring out the best of those reporting to you.
  • Experience selling financial products or complex B2C services.
  • Strong English & French communication skills;
  • Keen sense of adaptability in regards to process change and willingness to improve the way we work. 
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn new platforms.

Front-End Developer

In order to sustain our fast growth, we are looking for a Front-End Developer to play a key role in the development of the platform.

This role will report directly to the CTO.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Developing the scalable front-end of the platform
  • Collaborating with product managers and product designers to create an excellent user experience
  • Working closely with back-end developers and data scientist to build data services
  • Producing high quality scalable, well-designed, efficient, documented and tested code

What’s nesto looking for in a Front-End Developer?

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or another technical field
  • Experience and comprehension of front-end architectures that deliver excellent customer experience

  • Experience with GO (Optional)
